Bring water along. Short as this walk is, Arizona’s dry desert heat can quietly dehydrate you before you feel it. Keep a bottle of water on hand and take a few sips on the way.

Halfway along, you’ll pass The History Spot (Chandler Museum) — it’s easy to find on Google Maps and makes a perfect halfway waypoint if you’d rather navigate by phone.

Leave the Hilton and find this walkway
As you step out of the Hilton Garden Inn (the tall building on the left), look across for this covered walkway and start heading north.

Head for the “Breezeway to Shops” archway
Walk toward this archway. It sits between Saba’s Western Wear (the red building) and the Original ChopShop (white building). This is your way through.

Walk straight through the breezeway
Here’s that same archway up close — look for the “Breezeway to Shops” sign and the cactus mural. Go straight through the covered passage.

Pass The History Spot — your landmark
Inside, you’ll pass The History Spot by Chandler Museum. Keep going straight toward the daylight at the far end.

Come out the other side
You’ll exit onto the historic downtown walkway on the opposite side. Almost there — the Crowne Plaza is just ahead.

Head toward the restaurants
From here you can see the Crowne Plaza’s restaurant patios ahead. Keep walking straight toward them.

Arrive at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos
You’ve reached the Crowne Plaza San Marcos — the cream-colored resort with the palm-lined patios.

Enter here — you made it! 🎉
Use this covered entrance into the Crowne Plaza. The conference rooms are just inside. Enjoy the convention!
