  • Livestream access requests, including the name, email address, country, church or organization, pastor’s name, and preferred language you submit
  • Livestream sign-in records, including the personal access code issued to you and the date, time, and IP address of each sign-in

We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed for convention administration, support, security, and communications.

3. How we collect information

Information may be collected through:

  • Online registration forms
  • Reservation and event forms
  • Livestream access requests and livestream sign-ins
  • Support requests
  • Email
  • Phone calls
  • Text-message (SMS) interactions
  • QR codes that lead to online forms
  • Website cookies or analytics
  • Information you provide directly to convention staff

We collect information through these methods only where we actually use them; we do not claim opt-in through channels we do not offer.

4. How we use information

Information may be used to:

  • Process convention registrations
  • Manage reservations and event attendance
  • Communicate registration confirmations
  • Provide reservation updates
  • Send schedule and service information
  • Provide transportation information
  • Respond to attendee support requests
  • Send important operational, safety, or emergency notices
  • Coordinate accommodations or accessibility requests
  • Review livestream access requests and issue personal viewing access codes
  • Keep the livestream limited to approved viewers and identify shared or misused access codes
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents
  • Maintain accurate attendance and fire-code planning records
  • Improve the website and registration experience
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, or safety obligations
  • Maintain consent and opt-out records

5. SMS and Mobile Information

“Mobile information, including mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, and opt-in data, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.”

In addition:

  • Mobile information may be provided only to service providers that help Charity Tabernacle Inc. operate the SMS program — for example, to deliver messages, maintain the messaging platform, provide technical support, prevent fraud, or comply with legal requirements.
  • Those service providers may use the information only to perform services on behalf of Charity Tabernacle Inc., and not for their own marketing purposes.
  • SMS consent is specific to Charity Tabernacle Convention Support.
  • Consent to receive SMS messages is optional.
  • Consent is not a condition of registering, purchasing a ticket, making a reservation, attending the convention, or receiving support through another available channel.
  • Message frequency varies based on registration activity, event schedules, support requests, and urgent circumstances.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may reply STOP to any message to opt out.
  • You may reply HELP for assistance.
  • Opt-out requests will be honored, and after opting out you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
  • Opting out of SMS does not prevent Charity Tabernacle Inc. from contacting you by email, telephone, or another method when appropriate and permitted.

6. Convention livestream access and sign-in records

The convention livestream is not public. To watch remotely you must request access and be approved, and each approved viewer is issued a personal access code that is sent by email. When you request access we collect the name, email address, country, church or organization, pastor’s name, and preferred language you submit, together with your agreement to the viewing conditions shown on the request form.

Each time your access code is used to sign in to the livestream, we record the date and time of that sign-in and the IP address it came from. These sign-in records are kept with your access request and can be viewed by authorized convention administrators.

We keep these records in order to:

  • Confirm who is requesting access and approve or decline the request
  • Issue, email, and if necessary re-send your personal access code
  • Keep the livestream limited to approved viewers
  • Identify access codes that appear to be shared or used by more than one person
  • Revoke access when the viewing conditions are not honored
  • Understand how many people are watching each service

An IP address is a general network identifier and indicates only an approximate region; we do not use it to determine your precise location. Livestream access and sign-in records are not used for marketing, and they are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Access codes are personal to you. You may ask us to revoke your access and remove your record at any time by emailing convention@charitytab.org.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Personal information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary, to:

  • Authorized Charity Tabernacle Inc. staff and convention volunteers who need it to perform assigned duties
  • Hotels, transportation providers, event venues, or service providers, when needed to fulfill your request
  • Technology vendors that host our forms, websites, databases, communications, payment systems, or SMS services
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, attorneys, insurers, or auditors
  • Government authorities, emergency personnel, or law enforcement, when legally required or necessary to protect health, safety, rights, or property

Disclosure to an operational service provider does not permit that provider to use SMS opt-in data for unrelated marketing. We do not share personal information with “partners” or “affiliates” for their own marketing purposes.

8. Payments

When online payments are accepted, your payment card details are entered directly with third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe and our online ticketing provider). Those processors handle card data on their own secure systems, and Charity Tabernacle Inc. does not store full payment-card numbers on its own servers.

Each payment processor maintains its own privacy and security practices, and we encourage you to review them.

9. Cookies and analytics

The website may use cookies, security tools, analytics, and similar technologies. These are commonly used for:

  • Website functionality
  • Session management
  • Traffic measurement
  • Performance monitoring
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security

Most web browsers let you limit or block cookies. Some website features may not function properly if certain cookies are disabled.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information.

Although Charity Tabernacle Inc. takes reasonable measures to protect information, no website, network, storage system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • Convention administration
  • Recordkeeping
  • Financial reconciliation
  • Support
  • Safety
  • Legal obligations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Fraud prevention
  • Consent and opt-out documentation

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.

12. Your choices and rights

You may request to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete information, where legally and operationally permissible
  • Withdraw SMS consent
  • Be removed from optional communications

To make a request, email us at convention@charitytab.org. Certain information may need to be retained for legal, financial, safety, fraud-prevention, or opt-out compliance purposes.

13. Children’s information

Convention registrations may include information about children submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult. Children should not independently provide personal information through the website without the involvement or permission of a parent or guardian. This website is not directed to children.

14. International attendees

Attendees may access the website from outside the United States. If you do, your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

15. External links

The website may link to hotels, payment processors, transportation services, maps, or other third-party websites. Charity Tabernacle Inc. does not control those external websites, and their privacy practices may differ from ours.

16. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date or last-updated date shown at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we may communicate significant changes through the website or other reasonable means.
